Worldview

Run, Run, Run.
Stop.
Wall.

Turn,
Run, Run, Run.
Stop.
Wall.

Impenetrable as steel newly cooled,
Like stone of mountain heart, old and firm as
Earths foundations,

Turn,
Run, Run, Run
Stop.
Wall.

Invisible, but to the naked mind,
Dressed in its own power, in its untold
Assumptions.

Turn,
No Way Out!
NO WAY OUT!

Here I die, but still I look,
Grasp at every apparent crack, every loose stone
Deceitful lies.

Stagger,
Wait, please Wait.
Wall.

Built of but ideas, it cannot hold,
Yet here I sit, in my dungeon made of thought;
a slave.

Death.
Yet even that assumptions hold,
And at the end I am still chained as at the first.
Held captive by my own mind.

A Love Story

The sun light dances like a maiden at her own wedding,
She seeks her lover across moor and rock, meadow and stream.
She seeks in the oceans deep.

The sun light catches on the white of a sail,
She fills it with the hope of passing days,
And says, "The storm will not last forever."

The waves embrace the light, they hold her,
They throw her to the sky, and then catch her again,
The waves are rough wooers, and strong.

Here is her lover, one who will seek her out,
One who waits for her to come and bids her fond farewell.
Here is one who is captured by her beauty.

One who's heart beats a rhythm like her own.
